Wired Wessex

This event is being held on September 10 – 12 and will provide local suppliers of energy (and money) saving products and services, together with local organisations promoting recycling and sustainable living with an opportunity to showcase their wares in front of a large number of potential customers. The event will take place in a retail store made available to us by Whiteley Village and we already have a good number of suppliers taking stands.

If so please see the details below. We are only looking to cover costs of the event (advertising, adminstration, etc) so there is only a small charge for taking one of the stands.

The main theme is “Save money this winter”. The aim is to engage residents with suppliers and advisory boards in a motivating and thought-provoking way to increase awareness of how to save energy, promote carbon reduction, and increase awareness on recycling and sustainable living. It’s also a good opportunity to get your messages over to potential customers and generate some new opportunities.

We are looking to make it a fun event with plenty of public participation. We have competitions for adults and children, with a ‘big prize’ of £1000 off your energy bill, sponsored by Southern Electric, schools will be taking part with a range of activities and we are encouraging all suppliers to bring along samples and demonstrations.

So please get involved preferably by taking one of the stands or just come along and see for yourself how you can energy and money this winter.
