Hanstweb Awards & Queens Award For Enterprise 2008 Now Open For Nominations.

Nominations for this year’s Hantsweb Awards are now open.
The awards are intended to recognise excellence in design, accessbility and usefulness, with twelve categories in all.
These include Best Sport Website; Best Silver Surfer Website; Most Accessible Website; Best Local, Charity Or Voluntary Organisation Website and Best Small Business Website.
Each category’s finalists will then attend the awards ceremony at Winchester’s INTECH centre on the 4th of November 2008 to see who will win.
Anyone can make a nomination, so if you’re interested, please go HERE to nominate your chosen site.

In related news, this year’s Queen’s Awards For Enterprise are also open for nominations.
There are three categories open: International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.
Winners from the Hampshire area have included: Permanent Publications, Petersfield: for Sustainable Development; De La Rue Currency, Basingstoke for Innovation and Snell & Willcox Ltd, Havant, also for Innovation.
Nomination forms are available for download HERE. Nominations will close on the 31st of October 2008.
There is also a Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion, which recognises achievement on the part of individuals. Again, the deadline is the 31st of October, and forms are available HERE.
