Over 20 people booked free appointments to meet with a business mentor at the Wired Wessex Mentoring Event last Thursday, June 25th at the Slug and Lettuce, Winchester. Ed Beckmann of Interweave, Ltd., Jane Buswell of Business Fulcrum, Tony Treacy of eConsultants.it, Ltd., and Bernard Brooks and Adrian Grinsell of Business Link, offered their expertise in search engine optimisation, marketing, finance, funding, business start-up, and more, for 30 minute private appointments. When not meeting with a mentor, attendees gathered at the upstairs bar for a drink and to network. It was a relaxed and casual environment, but those that attended gained some valuable information.
Comments on the evening include:
“It provided exactly the information that I was looking for and an action plan that I can now follow.”
“I found the session extremely useful and am very grateful to [Wired Wessex] for making it happen. Very good to get a fresh take and some new ideas, particularly in these difficult times.”
“Positive, particularly Tony, practical advice delivered in a simple, open and helpful manner.”
We’re getting requests to make this a regular event, so keep an eye out for another opportunity to meet with a mentor!
Thank you to Ed, Jane, Tony, Bernard and Adrian for offering their time and talent!
